Laidback beachfront dining with colonial inspired cigar bar, Master Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten creates a true island life destination

Situated at the Eden Rock Hotel, St Barths’, both the Sand Bar and Rémy Bar are the new offering by Master Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The Sand Bar is the soul of the hotel with its unique beachfront setting representing St Barths’ fun and laid-back style. Serving high-end yet casual all day dining, from breakfast right through to dinner, signature classics include truffle pizza, crispy salmon and vegan matcha crème brûlée. Jean-Georges has concentrated on offering a healthy selection of dishes using locally sourced ingredients to obtain a balance that is good for guests, as well as the environment. The adjoining Rémy Bar, named after Eden Rock’s original owner Rémy de Haenen, in 1953, honours the founder’s wild pioneering spirit. An avid aviator adventurer and occasional island treasure-seeker, the interior follows a British-colonial vibe with impressive cocktails composed by Eden Rocks’ mixologists. A laid back journey for the senses offering bespoke elixirs and gastronomic bites for a true island bar-vibe. A colonial logo design and brand style was developed to interchange across both brands – for a bright Sand Bar feel and a moodier, cigar room style Rémy Bar.
