A screenplay to savour. Cinematically presented plant-based cuisine for those who believe in eating with their eyes.

Identity and branding for The Plant Room – an informal yet fine-dining experience with an electric fusion of flavour and ingredients. Vegan & plant based dishes cinematically presented for those who believe eating with their eyes is as good as the taste itself. Organic, ethical and locally sourced where possible. 

Taking over an existing space within a renowned London film theatre, the branding took cues from all aspects of cinematography. The name itself inspired by the plant-based offer and the idea of a power-plant, a huge source of electricity. Stunning photography forms the backbone of the brand, utilising cinematic imagery across brand collateral. We developed their tone of voice to be cinema focussed using terminology common within the industry. Brand collateral was created including restaurant menus, pairing stunning images with natural, plant-based papers and earthy green tones; using layers and different sized sheets as a form of interaction.

Whilst the concept is very much real, unfortunately Covid-19 prevented the launch from happening. We hope to see The Plant Room premiering again very soon in another location. The interior images below are of the previous space which The Plant Room were taking over and keeping everything exactly as it was.
