Balaustine

bAR & RESTAURANT BRANDING

Celebrating the rich and vibrant history of Israeli cuisine,
the Barbary Coast and the Middle East.

Balaustine, situated within Radisson Collection Hotel in central Berlin, celebrates the rich history of Israeli cuisine and the great influence of neighbouring Middle Eastern countries. Headed up by renowned chef Mitz Vora (ex Palomar, London), the cuisine offers vibrant, spice-filled dishes and punchy Middle Eastern-inspired cocktails; from smoky chargrilled meats, to fluffy breads, traditional yoghurt-dips and infamous Arabic coffee. Interiors, by the wonderful Fieldwork design studio, have created a warm and friendly gathering place to share small plates of traditional and modernised versions of Middle Eastern cuisine, all in the heart of Berlin.

Full brand identity including everything from art and creative direction, logo design, menu design and collateral touchpoints – including iconography and their main brand symbol featuring the ‘balaustine’ [the flower of the pomegranate tree]; symbolising and celebrating the rich history of cuisine on the Barbary Coast and neighbouring Middle Eastern countries – where the restaurant takes its name from.
