IDENTITY & BRANDING - FASHION & LIFESTYLE

A sustainable and ethical beach and resort wear brand inspired by Caribbean luxury and one of a kind pieces. Working with female artisans in India and Africa for a brighter future.

With their name taken directly from a Caribbean island, this luxury beach and resort wear brand specialises in light, easy wearing, organic cotton pieces. Evoking a luxury Caribbean vibe, artisanal craftsmanship is behind each collection using hand block-printing techniques – each made by hand, so not one piece will ever be the same.

Traditional, Indian hand block print manufacturers along with artisan suppliers in Africa, Europe and beyond produce handmade items using organic dyes, block-printing and clever cuts – with sustainability and quality cotton coming as standard. Their work with Project Thrive aims to employ at-risk women and provide them stable jobs, fair wage, safe commutes to and from home, healthcare and more.

The brief required a full brand identity from logo through to packaging and brand collateral. Soft, neutral pastel colours offer timeless luxury with a ‘hand-cut’ logo for a crafted Caribbean-beach feel. Their Members’ Club sub brand ‘The Cotton Bay Club’ was also created, inspired by bottle labels of Caribbean rums – for all things journal and lifestyle.
